It's true. You can't lead, hidden away in your office. Email doesn't count and may be worse.
I know. I've tried.
Sometimes, a lot of times, you've got to get out in the world and meet people in person.
Not what we introverts want to hear. But what we need to know. Games help: I set out each week to meet 10 people in person I didn't know before, and 10 who I already know but deserve more than an email. Hit the number and get a reward, like a negroni (for example).
What works for you?
t’s easy to get bogged down in everyday responsibilities and accountability, but in the end it’s the small, simple things that end up mattering the most.
